Batman & Robin (EP 84)

The Dynamic Podcasting Duo of The Last Row Podcast do something truly heroic by finding some positivity (along with some gentle bashing) in 1997’s disastrous film Batman & Robin. Important topics include: not being able to take MacGregor’s Disease seriously, Badway’s adventures in driver’s ed, Alfred faking sick, Bane’s trenchcoat, and Mr. Freeze’s misguided fundraising tactics.

We’ll see you again on Thursday, August 5th.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League (EP 76)

In this special edition* of The Last Row Podcast, Drew and Badway rapid-react to the new 4-hour “Snyder Cut” of Justice League, recently released on HBO Max. The guys discuss the benefits of streaming releases, the pros and cons of giving directors artistic freedom, movie length, the slippery slope of fan influence on filmmaking, and a brief breakdown of the differences between the Snyder Cut and the “JOSStice League” cut of 2017. The guys also put Steppenwolf through the Villain Scale.

*DISCLAIMER: this podcast is NOT 4+ hours long, despite Drew’s original vision. Badway stripped him of his artistic freedom.

We’ll see you again on Thursday, April 8th.

Batman Forever (EP 71)

Just like Batman is Forever, Drew and Badway apparently are Forever, as the The Last Row Podcast returns from a long hiatus to tackle the Caped Crusader in all of Gotham’s neon 90’s glory. Topics include: Being “done” with Bruce’s dead parents, Val Kilmer’s performance and legacy as Batman/Bruce Wayne, a spirited Alfred Pennyworth comparison, Dr. Chase Meridian’s steamy one-track mind, how Two-Face and The Riddler rank on the all new Villain Scale, and many more odds and ends, including the effectiveness of Scuba Thugs. Thanks for listening, it’s great to be back!

We’ll see you again on Thursday, January 28, when we tackle the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic, True Lies.
