[On Demand] Ghostbusters, Rules for a Reboot, & Method Acting (EP 25)

Drew and Badway reboot another episode of The Last Row: On Demand with a quick discussion on the new Ghostbusters trailer, which leads into the unveiling of their proposed Rules for Rebooting Movie Franchises. This set of four rules will finally bring an end to lazy, unwanted, and unnecessary franchise reboots. The guys also discuss sequels vs. reboots, pitch a ridiculous Home Alone re-imagining, and chat about the art of method acting, ending with a “True or False” game of insane Daniel Day-Lewis stories.

Hollywood v The Internet: Dawn of Hate

Haters gonna hate, and Drew and Badway are back to hate on the haters of the internet who just love to hear themselves complain about upcoming movie releases. The guys at The Last Row Podcast ponder the origin story of the internet hater (AOL chatrooms), question where the outlet for hate existed pre-internet, and cower at the thought of a Ghostbusters-esque River Of Slime forming under the Googleplex. Other topics include: the coining of the term Retrospective Hate, ranking Vincent Chase’s movies, debating the T-800’s ideal day job, live-tweeting church, and the defense for Zack Snyder and Michael Bay. All discussions circle around The Entourage Movie, Terminator Genisys, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and the Ghostbusters reboot.
